Dr. Nahmias is a seasoned Dermatologic Surgeon and Board-Certified Dermatologist, distinguished by his specialization in skin cancer surgery and reconstruction. Trained at Washington University in St. Louis, he brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to Elite Specialty Care.
After spending three years in Upstate New York, Dr. Nahmias is now returning to offer advanced skin cancer treatments and comprehensive dermatology services. His approach combines medical expertise with a genuine concern for the well-being of his patients. Known for his personable and compassionate demeanor, Dr. Nahmias ensures that each patient receives individualized and attentive care.
Tom Brumitt
DO
Dr. Tom Brumitt is a Vascular, Oncologic, and Interventional Radiology Specialist. He grew up in Southeast Missouri and attended college at the University of Missouri-Columbia and Central Methodist University.
His medical school was completed through A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. He then completed five years of Post- Doctoral Training in Colorado and Missouri, in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Brumitt has served the Poplar Bluff and surrounding area since 1992 and has been a vital part of the medical community.
With Elite Specialty Care he will use his skills to continue to serve the areas where needs are vital: vein care, dermatologic biopsies, localized cancer treatments and pain medicine procedures. The Poplar Bluff area is familiar with Dr. Brumitt’s dedication to focused, compassionate patient care and leading edge treatments which will continue with Elite Specialty Care.
Zachary Ferguson
Physician Assistant
Zach Ferguson has been practicing as Physician Assistant since January 2019. In 2015, he received a Bachelors of Science degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. He then completed a Master in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO in 2018.
He has received board certification from the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). He is currently employed at Elite Dermatology in Poplar Bluff, MO. Having been born and raised in Poplar Bluff, Zach is excited to raise his family and practice medicine in his hometown community.
Vanessa Adams
APRN, FNP-C
Vanessa Adams, APRN, FNP-BC has been practicing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner since 2016. She was born and raised in Poplar Bluff and has been working locally in the medical field since 2009. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2011 when she obtained her A.A.S. from Three Rivers College of Nursing.
Vanessa Adams then went on to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri and continued her education, earning a Master in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis in 2015. Vanessa is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has been providing dermatology care to the community since early 2016.
Haley Moss
APRN, FNP-C, DCNP
Haley Moss is a board-certified nurse practitioner and dermatology certified nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelors in Nursing from Missouri State University and worked in the Emergency Department for 2 years.
After receiving a Masters degree in Nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She found her passion in dermatology and has been practicing in this field in Poplar Bluff for over 2 years.
Haley Moss is married with two children and enjoys spending her free time with her family.
Michelle Burnham
APRN, FNP-BC
Michelle graduated nursing school from Three Rivers College in 1999. She went on to graduate Nurse Practitioner school from Mizzou with honors in 2008. For more than 15 years, Michelle has served her patients’ primary healthcare needs in Southeast Missouri. Having always had a special interest in dermatology, she is excited to join Elite Dermatology and bring her experience to this new role.
Michelle has always enjoyed establishing trusting relationships with her patients. She looks forward to continuing those relationships and providing specialty care to the area.
Michelle and her family reside in Van Buren. When she has a quiet moment, she enjoys spending time on Current River, gardening, reading, and most importantly spending time with her family.
